Cow hide leathers come in large pieces called hides. Some are sold as half hides or "sides" which typically range from 20-30 square feet (SQFT) each. Other cow hides come in full hides which are typically 45-55 SQFT. Because of there size and strength, cow hides are the ideal leathers for upholstery projects and for leather accessories like handbag, backpacks, and wallets.
