Eel leather is soft and supple with an intriguing fabric-like quality. Increasingly used in cutting-edge fashion, particularly in Europe, it has an exotically luxurious hand and visual impact. Significantly, eel leather comes in panels comprised of dozens of eel skins sewn together into a large rectangular sheet, approximately 2 x 4.5 ft. in scale.
This together with the qualities noted above make it uniquely suitable for making jackets, pants, skirts, dresses, and other garments, as well as an array of leather accessories. Eel skin is the perfect way to add an out-of-the-ordinary, sophisticated - dare we say, electrifying look to your project.
