Our salmon plates are flexible, and feature a semi-shiny finish that still retains the natural texture of salmon skins. The closed scales give them a smooth, refined texture, while their interwoven fiber structure—distinct from the parallel fibers of traditional leather—makes them even stronger than cowhide. Once discarded as a food by-product, these skins are a eco-friendly and sustainable quality to use for any small and large leather projects.
Salmon plates feature more than 30 individual salmons skins put together seamlessly. The measurement of the plate are shown below. Please note the plate is folded in half below.
