Avanti calfskin is a fine, tight-grained semi-aniline leather with a smooth, nearly flawless finish. It is thin with a "stand-up" firmness making it particularly ideal for accessories such as handbags and small leather goods. Chrome tanning and semi-aniline dyeing ensure long-term color-fastness and uniformity, water resistance, and a supple hand.
ALL COLORS apart from BLACK will ship mid-September once the Italian tanneries re-open after their annual summer vacations in August.
Avanti is perfect for accessories - handbags, wallets, small leather goods, and shoes as well as can be used for small upholstery projects that don't require large cuts (dining chairs, armchairs, etc.). Due to its temper, it can also be used for structured jackets and apparel.
