Atlas Cow Shoulder is a smooth, Tuscan vegetable-tanned semi-aniline cow leather. It is perfect for footwear, handbags, belts and other accessories, and lends itself beautifully to tooling, carving, stamping, and a variety of leathercraft techniques. Made in Tuscany with only natural tannings and dyes according to a centuries-old Italian artisan tradition, this warm, brilliant cowhide ages beautifully, acquiring a rich, unique patina over time.
This quality comes as a "double shoulder/full hide" but can be ordered in a "single shoulder/half hide" as well - approximate measurements are shown below.

the atlas is possibly my fav leather to make chokers/collars/harnesses/belts/keystraps out of. the quality of the hides ive got - are amazing. after about 5 minutes of just handling they break in to this smooth flexable leather and the finish is stunning for my work!

Atlas cow in cognac is my likable familiarity now. It’s pretty rad to be able to wet leather to be stamped AFTER it has been manufactured cognac in color!! It’s impressionable like natural leather you’d tool. Black is next! These handles are of your olive pig suede with 4oz Atlas cow split down to closer to 2oz
Absolutely fantastic leather with a beautiful sheen and very easy to work with. I used the cognac variant for the top of the seat and the natural for the bottom and the ottoman/footrest. The ottoman is also lined with your pig suede. Also very high quality and feels very smooth! My senior studio project was a success thanks to you guys.

The cognac Atlas cow is akin to a natural hide in it’s capacity for tooling and stamping. Thankfully the cognac exudes a seasoned quality that doesn’t call for a finishing that natural leather demands by color or conditioner.

Beautiful leather which wears exceptionally well and has a nice waxy and rich feel for wallets and accessories. I especially like the feeling of a wallet made with this leather it just melts into your hand
It has a supple feel with a clean look that even made my gun case look elegant.
Cognac or black atlas cow offered in 4oz. is incorporated in handles and 8oz as base panel. Good color and weight variation of a consistent product :)
